Key Performance Areas:
Sales
- Manage the successful execution of outside sales responsibilities in region
- Collaborate with senior executives to create a sales and marketing strategyto meet regional sales goals
- Network within region to maintain existing customers, convert competitive accounts, and create new account opportunities.
- Manage, develop, and add regional dealers as needed to meet sales goals.
- Create quotations, execute customer orders, and write sales agreements.
- Direct sales and customer development as needed
- Routine travels through assigned territory working with dealers, and to personally meet with existing and prospective customers to develop sales opportunities.
- Develop, manage, and maintain long term complex sale transactions
- Recognize and understand market and industry trends
Reporting
- Timely and accurate sales reporting for maintenance of sales pipeline
- Maintain customer data and sales transactional information in CRM.
- Routinely report on dealer network assessment
Organization
- Understand all product offerings, their application, and competitive advantage.
- Acquire knowledge of new markets and competitive developments in products and processes
- Provide information for sales forecasting to senior management.
- Develop sales strategies for short, mid, and long-term growth.
- Attend national and regional trade shows and other industry gatherings
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or industrial technologies / manufacturing engineering
- 5+ years of experience in the precision sheet metal market
- 5+ years of sales experience
Physical Context/Work Environment: This is a remote position typically conducted in a home office with travel to customers’ manufacturing facilities required.
