Basic Functions: Manage machine projects by working cross-departmental to deliver an outstanding customer experience from the time the sales order was signed to the machine/ line being fully operational at the customer’s facility. Manage Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction while driving profitability.
Titles: This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President Operations who reports to the CEO.
Nature and Scope:
Metalforming Inc. is the North American leader in metal fabricating technology. The company sells and services high quality metal folders, shears, rollformers, slitters, curvers, and storage handling systems from the most respected manufacturers across the globe.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Manage machine projects using Dynamics 365 in collaboration between sales, operations, suppliers in Europe and the customers.
- Analyze all operational processes to ensure they are delivered as expected and drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain a feedback loop between customer, sales, operations, and suppliers regarding on-going projects and maintain status and activities on CRM.
- Ensure sales orders are written up correctly to include all purchased items with correct account distributions.
- Work with the customers to ensure compliance for the electrical requirements at the customer’s facility prior to machine delivery.
- Ensure machine/ fabrication line- layouts match the customer needs and expectations.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and the suppliers to ensure machine specifications are correct and machine integrations between different lines/ suppliers are set up prior to machine delivery or a plan is in place to include the integration during installation.
- Support purchasing department in purchasing the machines ordered by the customers.
- Collaborate with the Director of Technical Services to ensure timely installation in-line with the customer’s needs and expectations.
- Coordinate pre-install packages.
- Collaborate with Operations Manager regarding container schedules and deliveries.
- Maintain, schedule, and deliver Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) by collaborating with the different departments and the customer. Drive profitability of SLA’s.
- Maintain reports to measure operational performance and customer focused KPI’s.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering, business or related.
- Technical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge.
- Project Management certification a plus.
- 1-3 years of professional work as a technical project manager or related position.
- Strong leadership qualitiesand ability to motivate a wide variety of teams and individuals associated with the project.
- Clear communication skills to guide project teams and coordinate with suppliers and internal departments.
- Organizational and time management skills to keep teams and projects on schedule.
- Thrives in a Team atmosphere.
- Comfortable in a highly competitive, collaborative, and fast-paced work environment.
- Professional demeanor projected daily.
- Computer skills: MS Office 365, CRM and/ or project management software experience.
Physical Context/Work Environment: This position works primarily in an office environment with frequent trips to a warehouse requiring safety procedures.
