With short-bed C-frame press brakes, deflection is not really an issue. But for larger bed, longer length press brake jobs, because of the span, C-frames can mean more deflection. That’s why CoastOne developed the G-series press brake with an O-frame design. The O-frame on the G25,
like all G-Series press brakes, deflects less than a conventional C-frame while still remaining lighter. The G25 has four servo-driven ball screws which crown and bend simultaneously. Due to the servos’ high accuracy, the upper beam can be CNC deflected to “follow” the lower beam seamlessly. This is CoastOne’s unique direct crowning. For tightly complex parts where any deflection would throw error into that part’s accuracy, our ability to very accurately control the penetration of that RAM across its length will absolutely provide superior bending results.
The G25 offers more bending power (89 tons versus 67) than the G20 and bending length of 2550mm (100”).
In addition to the servo technology’s superior kinetic design, the all-electric G25 is also quieter and more environmentally friendly than hydraulic brakes. The all electric G-series only consumes power when they are is working, making them less expensive to run than hydraulic brakes, and they eliminate the expensive oil changes, spare parts, valves and maintenance expenses common to hydraulic press brakes. As with all the G-series machines, the G25 features simple, user-friendly operator controls, complete flexibility in tooling styles and attention to operator-friendly design.
