I’m Geoff Stone, founder and president of MetalForming, Inc.. For 30 years I have studied and analyzed our industry. I can tell you the finest metal forming machines in the world are made by Jorns, Schechtel, Schlebach, Sen Fung, and Centurio. Each one of these products by itself is the best the world market has to offer. But the amalgamation of these machines as a family of products equals a brilliant solution for any metal forming business.

The men and women who work with me here in Peachtree City, Georgia, through their experience and knowledge of our world-wide partners and the building industry, are helping me to bring a pitch of genius to the architectural sheet metal and metal building industries. Thinking creatively. Anticipating future changes. Experimenting with our own theories and ideas, and finding the best and latest technology from our world-wide manufacturers.

Who is the MetalForming customer? A small roofing installer in Georgia. An Amish maker of post frame buildings in Pennsylvania. A medium-sized roofing contractor in Iowa. A small components manufacturer in Kentucky. And, the largest metal building manufacturer in the world. In other words, we are able to serve the entire metal forming population, from small construction contractors to the largest companies. Our customers are diverse and dedicated and hard-working. I started working in this industry 25 years ago. I brought the first automatic metal folding machine to North America in 1990. Before that, press brakes or hand brakes were the height of modern technology here. That first folding machine signaled the end of the horse and buggy era.

Ten years ago, I founded MetalForming, in part to duplicate the earlier success with metal folding. That experience underscored for me that the superior technology and best equipment comes from overseas. MetalForming travels the world, looking for the newest wave of technology, and working with our manufacturing partners to ensure that new equipment and upgrades are made available to builders here in North America.

This is a brief introduction to our family of products….an amalgamation of the latest technology to improve efficiency and productivity. In bringing these solutions and systems to the factory, we are working with our customers to change the face of the North American workplace.

Service

To keep this equipment functioning at its top performance level, MetalForming offers the largest tech support system in the industry through our field support, and now our new DirectLink videoconferencing service. DirectLink connects our tech staff with a customer’s workplace so that we can look at the equipment, talk with its operators, and keep it working. A stroke of genius all the way around.

In the end, it is MetalForming’s technical back up of our products that make them the best offerings in North America. The introduction of DirectLink means customers have access to tech support quickly, any where, without incurring travel delays and costs. Our $1.2 million parts inventory means we can get the right product there to support you when you need it.
