Geoffrey L. Stone is the founder, owner and Chief Executive Officer of MetalForming, Inc. Mr. Stone has been involved in sales and marketing of capital goods for more than 40 years. He worked in a number of roles for the AB Dick Company, including national sales manager. He also worked as vice president of sales and marketing for Roper Whitney, the Illinois-based sheet metal fabrication equipment company for five years before leaving to start his own company. With the goal of bringing the world’s best computer numerical control (CNC) metal folding equipment to North American customers, Stone first started Integrated Fabrication Technologies, Inc. which merged with MetalForming, Inc., and became incorporated in 1997. During the course of MetalForming’s growth, more than 6,000 architectural sheet metal machines have been installed throughout the United States and Canada, and MetalForming’s line of architectural sheet metal machines has grown to include folding, shearing, coil processing, portable roll-forming, factory-based roll forming, recoiling and curving machinery.
Bill Wilkins is the Chief Operating Officer of MetalForming, Inc. Mr. Wilkins came to MetalForming in 2006 after a 21-year career in the U.S. Navy. He served as a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy’s submarine force and held positions as Chief Engineer in charge of technical divisions at the naval base at King’s Bay, Georgia and as Director of all South American submarine operations. Leadership skills honed by that experience are now focused on helping our customers define the strategic vision and the technology mix to take their businesses to the next level. Wilkins earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University and a master’s degree in Computer Science from the Post Naval Graduate School in Monterrey, California. Prior to becoming Chief Operating Officer, he held a variety of positions at MetalForming, including Vice President of Customer Service, Chief Information Officer, Vice President of Operations and Executive Vice President. A recognized expert in lean manufacturing, he provides consulting guidance in development of integrated software and hardware solutions to help MetalForming customers streamline and optimize their operations.
David Prokop is the Executive Vice President for MetalForming, Inc.’s, Hardware and Business Services. Mr. Prokop has been with MFI since 2014, and has more than 26 years of experience as a sales, marketing and operations executive in the sheet metal machine industry. Mr. Prokop has worked in the machine tool and metal fabrication industry since 1986, when he began his career as a high-precision sheet metal service technician, shortly after getting his bachelor’s degree from the College of Industrial Technologies and Engineering at Southern Illinois University. Regarded as one of the single best machine tool salesmen in North America, he has an enormous amount of expertise to serve the valued MFI customer.
Art Vlastnik is the Vice President of Sales for MetalForming, Inc. Mr. Vlastnik has nearly 40 years of experience in the construction machinery business with a concentration in the HVAC, metal buildings, metal components manufacturing, and roofing markets. He has a bachelor of science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Notre Dame and has been guiding sales operations at MetalForming since 2002.
Allen Chapman is the Chief Financial Officer at Metalforming, Inc. Mr. Chapman has been with MetalForming, Inc. as CFO since 2001. He has a total of 25 years of financial management experience with U. S. and foreign-owned machinery distributors, ranging from launching a startup to service with established companies. Before moving to the machinery distribution industry, Mr. Chapman worked in manufacturing with iron foundry and lead manufacturing companies. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Troy University and is a Certified Managerial Accountant.
David Hamby is the Technical Services Manager at MetalForming, Inc., where he is responsible for providing top-rate customer service and support to clients throughout North America. Mr. Hamby joined the MetalForming, Inc., team in 2015, after spending 12 years with Sanderson Industries, where he served in roles ranging from maintenance technician to plant manager. Prior to Sanderson, he worked in several customer service capacities for Delta Air Lines. Mr. Hamby earned a degree in Management from Clayton State University. Mr. Hamby brings extensive experience in both precision metal plant operations and customer service to provide industry-leading customer service to MetalForming, Inc.’s highly-valued customers.
Betsy Carroll is the Director of Purchasing and Logistics at MetalForming, Inc. Ms. Carroll started with MetalForming in 2005 and held the positions of Invoicing Specialist, Accounts Payable Representative (Foreign & Domestic), and Purchasing Manager. In 2007 she added oversight of the Logistics Department. Betsy was raised in Colorado, and matriculated at Colorado State University, then graduated from Georgia State University summa cum laude with a BA in Business Administration and a concentration in Accounting.
