The high-speed, extremely accurate Schechtl backgauge system ensures exactly the right-sized bend – every time – and has several important features that differentiate SpectraFold from all others. The Schechtl backgauge uses a massive 1.25" dual-ball screw drive, coupled with powerful 1.5" Thompson rods, to provide pinpoint positioning accuracy of +/- .004" and perfect, long-term parallelism.

MAB

The Schechtl MAB is more of what the industry has loved about the MAX. It is a 14 ga. capacity machine that features the same touch screen control, massive backgauge and solid folding beam. This machine is the choice of the sign shop industry when coupled with a 10' backgauge.

MAE

For precision manufacturers, the MAE 11 ga. folder gives massive strength with its spindle drive clamping and solid components. All Schechtl machines can be upgraded with 40", 60" or 120" backgauge and your choice of box and pan tooling.
